 CERATECH REPAIR MATERIAL CHARACTERISTICS
  • CERATECHs repair cements are single component, water activated powders.
Our new construction and manufacturing cements are activated at the job site or time of use in a manufacturing environment by the addition of a simple admixture ( Liquid or powder)

CERATECHs material technology contains neither Portland cement nor polymer resins.
  • CERATECHs material technology utilizes a high percentage of industrial waste such as fly ash, volcanic ash and dredge materials to form a pozzolonic cement . Our cements may be extended with most traditional natural stone aggregates or recycled concrete, man made aggregates or post consumer and industrial waste such as glass thereby further increasing their already considerable green status.
  • CERATECHs materials are considered to be non-shrink as they exhibit negligible shrinkage rates per ASTM C 157
  • CERATECHs Pavemend® family of high performance repair products expand slightly during curing process ensuring a complete, micro-pore bond with host concrete via chemical and mechanical means.
  • CERATECHs repair materials offer sustained bond integrity due to their low Modulus of Elasticity which has been specifically engineered to be compatible with most host materials
  • Compressive strengths of 6,000 to 10,000 psi at 28 days. CERATECHs repair products are designed to mirror the design strengths of host pavements while rapidly achieving high early strengths allowing for quick return to service of critical assets.
  • CERATECHs repair products can be mixed, placed and returned to service in a very wide range of ambient temperatures  (0˚F - 120˚F) depending on product, with little effect on product performance.
  • CERATECHs repair products obtain high early strengths enabling quick return to service of critical assets. Return to service varies from under 1 hour to 4 hours depending on type of CERATECH product used. Various working time options are also available and range from just a few minutes to near 45 minutes, depending on ambient temperatures.
  • CERATECHs repair products bond tenaciously to most construction materials except those that are polymer based. The Pavemend® family of repair products will aggressively bond to themselves with no surface preparation or bonding agents whatsoever.
  • CERATECHs repair products have been designed with a mild Modulus of Elasticity that allows our repair products to mirror the movements of the host concrete while maintaining their flexural strengths. This engineering accomplishment is key to maintaining the long term bond integrity between repair material and host.
  • A very low Coefficient of thermal expansion permits our materials to experience a wide range of temperature fluctuations with minimal expansion or contraction
  • CERATECHs products experience zero loss of material during repeated freeze thaw conditions, thereby maintaining their surface integrity for long term performance.
  • Unlike Portland cement based concrete, our materials reach their final state by undergoing an exothermic chemical reaction. The catalyst for this reaction is water. Water is also all that is required for cleanup. Upon final set, CERATECH products can be sanded, drilled or polished.
  • ERATECHs products are non-hazardous, green sustainable and possess a neutral pH. Our materials produce no out-gassing and will not cause chemical burns if handled.
  • CERATECHs repair products can be colored using pigments normally used with Portland cements.
 CERATECH NEW CONSTRUCTION MATERIAL CHARACTERISTICS
  • CERATECHs  high volume cement, RediMAX™ is an ultra high performance structural concrete suitable for most traditional applications. It can be configured and delivered from a batch plant via transit truck, introduced into a transit mixer at your site with super sacks or prepared at an “on-site” batch plant for dump truck delivery projects.
  • Unlike Portland concrete however, RediMAX™ remains in an unreacted state until water and RediMAX™ admixture are introduced. This benefit allows for improved scheduling flexibility, eliminating the possibility of material loss due to the standard 90 minute water to discharge constraint.
  • Once activated, RediMAX™  has 90 minutes to be discharged, placed and finished. Depending on mix design, high early compressive strengths of over 3,000 psi are possible within 6 hours!
  • RediMAX™ can be field adjusted for required slump and working time.
  • Formwork can be stripped in 4 hours making vertical masonry construction  possible immediately thereafter.  Commercial steel construction can begin in only 6 hours from placement as compressive strengths will exceed 3,000 psi.
  • RediMAX™  can be placed in ambient temperatures to zero degrees Fahrenheit without cold weather admixtures or supplemental heat!  (Strength development at very low temperatures may be delayed by approximately 25%.)
CERATECH Manufacturing (Precast and or Block) MATERIAL CHARACTERISTIC
  • RediMAX™ is a highly engineered “green sustainable” engineered cement that can be used in a wide variety of block & precast product manufacturing and  enables RAPID manufacturing of high performance, precast & block products.
  • RediMax™ is  water activated, high performance structural cement. RediMax™ can be effectively placed in ambient temperatures ranging from 30 to 120 degrees Fahrenheit without the need for traditional post hydration curing practices. RediMax™ cements are comprised of nearly 95%waste stream material. When extended with other post consumer or industrial waste such as glass, RediMax™  achieves a level of “green” friendliness like no other building material in the world!.
  • Exceptional mix design flexibility allows for custom tailored formulations & product strengths per customer requirements.
