Extreme Environment Specialty Products
CERATECH's unique material technology lends itself to extreme application and service temperature extremes. Traditionally, concrete repair and or new construction has been constrained by sub-freezing temperatures due to the water and hydration issues associated with Portland cements.
CERATECH's products do not hydrate and cure in a traditional sense thereby allowing them to be used in extreme cold conditions. Conversely, the lack of free water in the final cured material is not subject to expansion when superheated and thus will not contribute to failure within the material matrix. This characteristic makes Firerok™ a cost competitive solution to environments that will see periodic cycling of extreme thermal events.
HIGH TEMPERATURE CONCRETE
FireRok™ is a cementitious, high-early strength concrete that can be used either as a repair product or as a structural concrete. Within 24 - 72 hours of placement, the product can be placed in high temperature environments as high as 1800ºF. It can be blended in small volumes using a conventional drum mixer, and is also available for transit truck applications as well. FireRok™ has been designed for areas which are exposed to high temperatures either from an intermittent or a continuous heat source. This would include runway areas exposed to jet blast, HPUs, oven, and metal casting areas. |

EXTREME COLD WEATHER REPAIR CONCRETE
CERATECH’s cold weather products Subzero™ and SubzeroXL are single component powders that are water activated. They are ideal materials for the repair of cold storage warehouses, freezers or other extreme cold temperature internal or external applications. |
