CERATECH adds new rapid setting repair concrete to product line
Concrete Monthly, July 2007

CERATECH Inc. has introduced Mainline, a rapid setting, new construction and repair concrete. Mainline is an environmentally-friendly, highly green-sustainable, non-Portland, non-epoxy construction material.

Mainline, which comes in pre-extended, 66 pound bags and is mixed and placed like traditional cement, was developed by CERATECH by re-cycling non-hazardous waste stream materials into a cementitious mineral structure. This new material technology allows CERATECH to offer a turn-key, rapid setting green sustainable concrete that's comprised of more than 90 percent waste stream material.

Mainline is specifically designed for horizontal applications providing for low cost repair of building restoration projects, balcony projects, loading dock ramps, parking garages, form and pour projects and any other application where cost efficient return to service is important.

Mainline, as well as CERATECH's PaveMend line have been engineered to address many of the issues posed by traditional construction materials, including an applicable temperature range of 30 to 120 degrees Fahrenheit, expedient return to service time, ample working and finishing time, shrinkage, resistance to freeze thaw cycles and long term durability.

Mainline offers up to 60 minutes of working time and will reach compressive strengths of more than 2,000 psi within 4 four hours from addition of water. Additionally, Mainline provides exceptional seven-day bond strengths of more than 3,200 psi, flexural strengths of more than 1,000 psi and low elasticity characteristics that allow for long term durability and compatibility with host concrete.
